CFMS Assistant privacy notice
Updated 18 September 2026.
The AMC Studio CFMS Assistant extension helps a signed-in Studio user fill the government's CFMS challan form. It is an independent companion to Statement Studio and is not an official government extension.
Information used
When you choose Create challan, Studio passes your selected receipt identifiers, total amount, verified DDO code and saved CFMS form details to the extension. Form details may include a remitter name, remitter ID, address, mobile number and email address. The extension fills these details on prdcfms.apcfss.in at your request.
Storage and access
The extension keeps the current preparation in Chrome's session storage, associated with its CFMS tab. The tab context is removed when the tab closes; session storage is cleared when the browser session ends. Contexts older than 30 minutes cannot be used. Studio stores the saved DDO profile and preparation history on the Studio server under that AMC's account.
The extension does not collect portal passwords, cookies, CAPTCHA answers, browsing history, analytics or advertising data. It runs only on the Studio website and CFMS pages. The separate development build also supports local preview pages.
Your controls
You can edit the saved form details in Studio and uninstall the extension in your browser. CAPTCHA and final challan submission remain under your control. Removing the extension does not remove Studio's saved report history; contact your Studio administrator for account-data or deletion requests.
Sharing
The extension does not sell data or send it to advertisers. Selected form details are transferred from Studio to the CFMS government website for the challan workflow you initiate. Studio account storage and government records are separate from browser extension storage.
